Tour de Martinique des Yoles Rondes : a major annual celebration

The Annual Yole Boat Race is a week-long event held each summer, end July/early August. It is an island wide celebration unlike any other. The annual race around the island consists of seven legs over seven days. Ashore the race is followed by cheerful crowds that gather along the shores while at sea, hundreds of monohulls, cats, powerboats, traditional fi shing boats and other vessels trail the racers. Each race is punctuated with carnival-style celebrations and a lot of partying, island style.

The 36th edition of the Martinique Yole Boat Race will take place from July 24th to August 1st, 2021.
